It is an important water-soluble cellulose ether. It is white or yellowish powder or granular, non-toxic and tasteless. It can be dissolved in water, has good heat stability and salt tolerance, and has strong antibacterial properties. The mud fluid prepared by the product has good water loss, inhibition, and high temperature resistance. Widely used in the oil drilling industry, especially salt water wells and offshore oil drilling.

Application

1. CMC and PAC used in drilling fluid

The non-dispersive drilling fluid configured with CMC and PAC has strong drill cutting ability, inhibits clay dispersion, reduces clay pulping speed, is conducive to wellbore stability, and effectively increases drilling speed.

2. CMC and PAC used in cementing fluid (completion fluid)

The cement slurry with CMC and PAC can improve the fluidity of the cementing fluid, and it has a suitable initial viscosity and a low fluid loss. At the same time, it can protect the well wall and prevent fluid from entering the pores and cracks.

3. CMC and PAC in fracturing fluid

The fracturing fluid prepared by CMC and PAC can quickly increase the viscosity of the fracturing fluid, and can efficiently carry the proppant into the crack of the oil well, establish a permeation channel, rapidly reduce the fluid loss, and rapidly increase the formation pressure to achieve high-efficiency transfer pressure. The product has no residue, no damage to the bottom layer, high pumpability, small abrasion resistance, and the ability to carry proppant.

The fracturing fluid prepared with PAC can withstand 2% KCI solution (must be added when preparing fracturing fluid) and has good solubility, small addition amount, no residue, can effectively reduce fluid loss of fracturing fluid, and has good resistance. Salt and temperature resistance, easy to use, can be prepared on site, and the gelation speed is fast, and the sand carrying capacity is strong. Used in low osmotic pressure formations, the fracturing effect is even better. It can be used instead of guar gum.
